I have made/found an interesting crackme. How do I put it on the site?
- At the top of the site you will see a 'contribute' link. Press it.
- Select 'crackmes' in the topic selectbox.
- Fill in all the fields (all fields are required). Be as informative in the description as possible.
- Upload the crackme (zip/rar/gz format only).
- Press preview, and when all looks good press submit.
-Your crackme will be available on the site after approval of an admin.

Note : preferrably use html postmode

I have made a tutorial and would like to put it on the site. What is the procedure?
- Press the 'contribute' link at the top of the page.
- Select "tutorials" in the topic selectbox.
- Fill in all fields (all fields are required). Be as informative in the description as possible.
- Don't upload any images or binary yet, press preview.
- Repeat above steps till the tutorial looks like you want it.
- Select images (maximum 10) and insert a tag in the story body editbox that looks like this : [imageX] (X = the number of the image you uploaded) where you want the image to appear. If you uploaded images, you HAVE to insert the tags or you won't be able to post. (images are not required)
- Select a binary, and insert the tag [bin] in the story body editbox at the place where you want the link to appear. If you upload a binary you HAVE to insert the tag or you won't be able to post (binary is not required)
-Press submit
-Your tutorial will be available on the site after approval of an admin.

Note : preferrably use html postmode

I want to publish an article related to coding. How to publish it?

- Select "coding" in the topic selectbox.
- Fill in all fields (all fields are required). Be as informative in the description as possible.
- Don't upload a binary yet, press preview.
- Repeat above steps till the tutorial looks like you want it.
- Select a binary, and insert the tag [bin] in the story body editbox at the place where you want the link to appear. If you upload a binary you HAVE to insert the tag or you won't be able to post (binary is not required)
-Press submit
-Your tutorial will be available on the site after approval of an admin.

I previewed my article and all text is pasted together, all enters seem to be gone. What happened?
You probably entered plain text, but used the default postmode 'html' instead of 'plain text'.
Add <BR> tags everywhere where you want an enter, or select plain text mode.
Note that html mode offers more possibilities to make you article more appealing.

I want to add code snippets to my article how can I do that in a clear way?
You can place the code snippet between "[ code ]" "[ /code ]" tags

Can I be sure my disassembly snippet is alligned properly?
Use html postmode, and put all disassembly snippets between "[ code ]" "[ /code ]" tags.

I solved a crackme. How do I add a tutorial, and link to the crackme?
Use the contribute link as described above to submit your tutorial.
In the tutorial you can add a link to the crackme by using [file:crackmeID linkname] in the story text. You can find the crackmeID in the url when selecting it in the download area. (eg. [file:20050314194042546 Detten Crackme 9]).
When the tutorial is approved, it is also handy to add a html link to your tutorial as comment to the crackme. (like this example: http://www.reversing.be/article.php?story=20050220201934102#comments)

I want to attach images to my tutorial, what is allowed?
Until someone convinces me otherwise images are only allowed on tutorials (not on coding articles or crackmes).

Limitations :
- A maximum of 10 images can be attached to a tutorial.
- Only GIF/JPG/PNG are allowed mime types.
- Image size should not be larger than 640x480

How to attach them to the tutorial and placement in the tutorial is explained in the above post under the question "I have made a tutorial and would like to put it on the site. What is the procedure? "

What is the easiest way to link from one article to another?
This site supports the following syntax :

[story:'storynumber' link text]

eg. [story:20050910164439169 related article here]
