Hi, I'm a very newbie at reversing....
I used OllyDbg in most of the tutorials I read about Start Cleaner and Telport reversing.
But I found a tutorial to crack Winrar (it impresses more friends than old sharewares...) . But if I search for strings with windasm i can easily find the strings "registered to" and so one.
And if in Ollydbg, I try "Search for>all referenced strings", there's no such a string in the list...
Could anybody tell me why?

Using WDASM is a very goodway, in this example, with WinRAR. But you don't need to find the "registerd to..." string, just find the "reminder" string, it will let to to go to some where, which will call the "reminder" dialog, and then you will easy findout the value contain the registered flag, just change it, everythingwill fine:)
But remember, WDASM sometime is not the best way, it can dasm a pack file, and can't hide it when debug, so anti crack soft can detect and remove it.
