WinDasm and OllyDbg

Hi, I'm a very newbie at reversing....
I used OllyDbg in most of the tutorials I read about Start Cleaner and Telport reversing.
But I found a tutorial to crack Winrar (it impresses more friends than old sharewares...) . But if I search for strings with windasm i can easily find the strings "registered to" and so one.
And if in Ollydbg, I try "Search for>all referenced strings", there's no such a string in the list...
Could anybody tell me why?

I cracked all version of WinRAR so far, and they all have the same weakness.

Read the tutorial again, I think you coulda miss-understood it....

Was it my tutorial?

Must not be, because in my tutorial, Only Codefusion & W32Dasm is needed ^_^
