I ran across this tool called lida

linux interactive disassembler

however i can't seem to get it to work properly,

did anybody tried it before?

I used it once, just to see if it was any good.
It has the basic IDA looks, but at the time of trying (a year ago approx) the tools was not mature enough for serious usage.

I remember I had font problems so that all disassembly text was huge, and no scale options. I also didn't disassemble all of the code in the binary, it just stopped halfway a function. (Maybe I was supposed to have scrollbars there, but none appeared)

iirc the frontend was coded in perl, and well to be honest it just sucked. I think I read somewhere they are redoing it in C now...

Anyway this may become a good tool, but I wouldn't wait for it...
