Hi,
does exists any way how do find a password from a textbox(classic textbox with *** instead characters)? Is the password encrypted or is just a plain text in the memory?

Thanks.

Well u just need to send WM_GETTEXT to that window. Though, i'm not sure if that works always... but it does.

think you might just try to break on GetDlgItemTextA if WM_GETTEXT doesn't work...and just go from there Wink

I think the string is shown in the buffer of course it can't be
encrypted before it gets saved in memory so try breaking on
an API like GetDlgItemTextA Or GetWindowTextA and such
API's that gets strings through text boxes it should work although
i never faced such a situation but logicaly yes it could be done using this way !!
