Why is the old forum gone?

We switched to a new BiW site, and this site includes a new forum that is integrated with the site. For a number of reasons we chose not to convert the old forum to the new one.

Can I still use the old forum?

For the moment the old forum is still usable (read/write), it will remain that way for a while, in order to finish active threads.
After a while the forum will become read-only. You are free to re-post your open posts from the old forum to the new one.

I want to consult the old forum, where can I reach it?

I have a login at the old forum. Can I use the same account here?

You will need to register again at this site. Your new login will work for both the site and the forum, since the forum is integrated in the site.
