think you might just try to break on GetDlgItemTextA if WM_GETTEXT doesn't work...and just go from there Wink

well...from what i've read in your post your tryin to code a patcher to modify several bytes in a .exe file ... hope i'm right...
well i suggest you don't do it with 16 bits....better code it for win ...

the stuff like that...text outputs on documents and stuff like that(watermarks) can usually be removed by reversing a single jump...so try to find it Very Happy
