Does anyone know of a decent up to date debugger for MAC OSX Tiger? I really want to expand out of windows reversing, but I have not really found a MAC debugger. _________________ The serial key to my front door is 999.
I have no experience with mac osX, but since its a unix style kernel it must be possible to use ported linux tools.
Like the gdb debugger (with possible frontends like ddd)
I remember I once saw a ddd osX port. _________________ Ignorance is bliss, knowledge is power
I have come to the conclusion that you are right detten. I was hoping for a nice mac package to be out there somewhere. I think I will just have to compile something on the mac and give it a shot. It (mac)is a nice platform that is easy for the wife to use and still lets me get down and dirty in the *nix console. _________________ The serial key to my front door is 999.
I suppose it is quite nice and polished.
But I don't think the difference with my linux box is that big. Besides I have a little more freedom of program/hardware choice, my windowmanager looks pretty much like mac OSX
If you google around you will find some precompiled stuff for mac OSX I think. _________________ Ignorance is bliss, knowledge is power
Thanks Detten! I have googled MAC debuggers in general and found some outdated tools, but I have not searched through the Linux debuggers to see if any are compiled for mac. I'll get to it and see what I can come up with. _________________ The serial key to my front door is 999.
